Since 2021 and 2023, the laboratory team has consistently implemented and worked in accordance with the requirements of the MNS ISO 15189:2015 standard "Medical Laboratory, Requirements for Quality and Competence" and the ISO 9001:2015 standard "Quality Management System" in its operations.

Advanced Molecular Biology Laboratory
Since 2022, we have opened and put into operation a high-capacity laboratory in the advanced molecular biology laboratory. It is equipped with the world’s best manufacturer, the US Biorad brand Realtime PCR equipment, and an organisation and ventilation system that meets the standards of a modern molecular biology laboratory.
Analysis quality
We are improving our operations to further improve the quality of analysis by participating in RIQAS—the world's largest external quality assessment system with more than 55,000 laboratories in more than 134 countries—the British External Quality Assessment Control, Sysmex company of Japan, MEQAS National External Quality Control, and the external quality control conducted in Mongolia.
Control and Inspection
An internal control is conducted regularly for each test indicator.
Digital technology
Because it is connected to the hospital's internal electronic network, test results can be obtained electronically from anywhere.
CLINICAL LABORATORY
The Clinical Laboratory uses fully automated analysers from ROCHE, BIORAD, and SYSMEX, along with globally standardised reagents and diagnostics, to perform biochemical, haematological, clinical chemistry, immunological, serological, bacteriological, and molecular biology tests. It consistently participates in external quality assessments to ensurethe quality of medical care.

BACTERIOLOGY LABORATORY
This laboratory identifi es more than 20 types of pathogens prevalent in Mongolia. It can differentiate bacteria by biochemical characteristics using the high-capacity European automatic analyser "Vitex," which is capable of diagnosing over 300 bacteria.
